The midwife and the community health nurse works in a setting within a community that deals with an individual and their families whether it’s delivering babies or managing an illness. Health indicators are used to describe the health status within a community and serve to improve the community health. This can be the same for midwives, but the main focus is specifically based how it effects the mother and child. The community health nurse usually have a facility from which they work but is not necessarily limited to that institutional settings; whereas midwifes typically work in the homes but are not limited to just a home settings.
