Abortion : Is it wrong?
Let’s first start off by explaining what abortion actually is. Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. It is most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. People often get abortion and miscarriage confused with each other but unlike abortion, a miscarriage is the expulsion of a fetus from the womb before it is able to survive independently. It is said that twenty-one percent of all pregnancies end in abortion.
In 2011, 1.06 million abortions were performed. In the united states about half of all unintended so they mainly end in abortion. There are many arguments about abortion. Some people think its okay while others think it’s not. I personally think that it is not right to kill a baby or any human being.
I think that if a woman gets pregnant unintentionally that she should not kill the baby. If she decides she does not want the baby there are other options besides abortion. The woman could put the baby up for adoption and allow the baby to live a normal life. Even though the baby won’t know his/her biological mother/father it will still be able to live life. She could also just own up to the fact that the baby is hers and keep and raise the child. Foster care is another option the woman has. There is no excuse to abort the baby.

If the baby has a birth defect or a genetic problem there could still be a chance in the baby surviving and being able to live their life like any other person but the woman takes that right from the baby by aborting it. Abortion should be considered illegal because it is basically murder. Abortion is not right under any circumstances and women who have abortions should be punished. Just like when one person kills another it is considered murder, abortion should be to. There are many other alternatives than taking a poor baby’s

Last Sunday, my priest rambled about the ongoing election and who we should vote for as devout Catholics. He discreetly told us when he stated, “I voted for the candidate that does not support abortion. I voted for the candidate that sought to keep the Church’s ideals. When you vote, please remember the Church’s standards.” Essentially, my priest told all the attendants to vote for Trump because his presidency will prevent the practice of terminating unborn babies.…

Abortion for another reason is completely immoral to me. I substantiate that life began in conception, without conception no person in the world would be born. The fetus stage is scientifically and natural part of an evolution of the human life cycle. Abortion is to terminate a human being in any stage of life, then abortion, ending a life of the fetus, is absolutely wrong. Killing is murder and murder are ethical absolutes.…

It robs its victim of more than anything else could. As fetuses have a future that is like that of any adult human, aborting a pregnancy is depriving them of that future and therefore, must be morally wrong. It is morally wrong to kill any adult human because killing them deprives them of all the potential value in their future- that is, their valuable…

People also think it is acceptable to have an abortion because they do not want to bring an unwanted child into the world due to birth defects. No reason is a good reason for killing an innocent, vulnerable child. In fact, out of all the abortions performed for expecting mothers, less than one-percent of them are to save the life of a woman. Also, to perform an abortion because the child has a birth defect is discriminatory against people with disabilities. Additionally, the baby’s right to be alive is much more important than the mother’s right of deciding whether she wants a child or not.…

Abortion is increasing tremendously. There are 40-50 million abortions that occur per year, that means there are 125,000 unborn babies that die every day. Abortion is a touchy issue. Many say it is okay, others are totally against it, and some think it’s acceptable, depending of the circumstances. In my opinion, it’s wrong and not at all necessary, unless in the case of pregnancy, the mother is informed she will perish during the pregnancy term. Science continues to say a fetus is only a small “lump of tissue” but it isn’t, it’s human, it is a life. We are taught, “You shall not murder,” yet there are about 100, 000 lives aborted yearly.…
