Last year I only did sofware emerge and worked on small projects with photoshop. But coming into this year I took over mentoring and got it all up and running and again.
At the first of the year we went down to kindergarten but then they have a hour of literacy in the morning so we could not go there in the morning anymore. Mrs. Hagans started helping us get more teachers and now we have at least six teachers that we go to about everyday and mentoring. We are still emailing teachers and trying to get more teachers for mentoring. In second hour Kelcey and Destanee go to Mrs. Hendrix monday through Thursday . Then in sixth hour Derek, Raychelle, Kendra, Destiny, all go mentoring at least twice a week.

Livestreaming was something I had never really been interested in but I was glad that I did it because it let me expand my knowledge of the things that the students in EAST do.
This semester I went to final cut pro training which I learned how to make small clips and final cut pro training was a lot of fun learning how to make small clips. Iḿ really excited for to get final cut pro on the mac and start working on the different video EAST needs to make. Learning new softwares is alway fun and excited I really love how easy final cut pro is compared to imovie. I did not really use imovie a lot but what I saw of it final cut pro seems a lot easier.
I feel like I meet all my goals for EAST I went to a training this year I got six teacher by the end of the first semester I am really excited about that. Next semester I am hoping to get at the least three teachers for mentoring and to keep all of the teachers we got this year to next

My junior year in high school, I became a student mentor in our campus’s peer counseling program. This was an incredibly rewarding experience as I had the opportunity to help freshman students assimilate into our high school dynamic. As a peer mentor, I assisted students with personal problems and mediated issues with teachers in order to maximize their learning experience. I also acted as a role model for my mentees by talking frequently about AP and Honors courses and how to be successful in such programs. I put effort into learning about each individual's interests and goals so that I could expose them to clubs and academic courses that they may appreciate such as the Biomedical Academy or our school’s robotics team.…
