The pregnancy experience is unique, each and every time that it occurs. In some cases it may be wonderful and in others not so pleasant. There are many factors that can contribute to, and predict the emotional quality of each pregnancy. The emotions that a woman feels during her pregnancy can be traced back to how she felt physically and mentally, however, her environment plays a role as well. Some women may experience morning sickness, but it is not common to every pregnancy. Contrary to how it makes a woman feel, it is actually the body’s way of keeping the baby healthy. The emotional toll of this physical suffering, that may or may not occur, can cause a woman to feel negatively towards the pregnancy experience. Another emotional toll that comes with being pregnant is the anxiety concerning the well being of the unborn child. After the first three months of pregnancy this anxiety is likely to deplete, but not diminish.
