According to Michele Borba in, 15 Serious Facts about High School Stress, “School ranks as the highest stressor in teens’ lives.” Many say that your teen years are supposed to be the most unforgettable years of your life, however, school creates so much stress amongst young people that they do not enjoy their youth. The amount of time spent in school overwhelms teens because they are to balance their social life, sports, clubs or extracurricular activities, family, and work while getting at least eight hours of sleep. Eliminating school to only four days a week can be extremely helpful because it gives students enough time to complete their work and leads to better health.
