It has provided extraordinary improvements to our world- being an endless source of entertainment, linking communication anywhere at any time, increasing the accessibility of opportunities, and many others. However, despite of its productive contributions to the world, its progression has made several unpleasant effects on people in the society. Ever since the industrial revolution has ascended, people have become totally dependent on technology, embracing its benefits while ignoring the many drawbacks. Some negative effects of technology in today's classroom are first, it can take away valuable learning time due to technical troubles that might happen when teachers conduct a class using computers or laptops. It will also occur in some impoverished areas where there are students who have little or no idea about computers. Second is that students are not doing their own work anymore and are only relying on the web to do the work for them. They are more likely to copy and paste or plagiarize from a web site to accomplish their assigned homeworks and paperworks. And last, it can turn educational experiences into games for students especially those who have their own gadgets stored with applications for
