Social networking is a tool used by millions of people around the world daily. With the advancements in technology, the impact of social networking on society is greater than it has ever been before. It plays a major role in today’s culture where many people find themselves incapable of living without. Social media allows individuals to reunite with old friends and family, maintain relationships, and create new relationships. In recent years, social media websites─ MySpace, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter─ have offered this ability to teenagers. Meredith Cheney, a porter resident, has tried for over 30 years to find her biological mother. She attempted to find her mom through the adoption agency and normal routes, but she had no luck.
