I conducted a one-on-one career session with one of my Advance level ESOL student. Her name is Zaina Abthigi (name changed for privacy purposes). She is a 40 year old female who has moved from Yemen eight months ago. She has a college degree in computers from her country. She is currently unemployed and looking for a job. All of her educational background and employment experience is based on outside the U.S.A. She is taking English classes with our program to improve her reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
