Some people are born leaders. When I was in high school, our class president was a natural leader. He was kind to those who spoke kindly to him but thought about everything he said, he was confident in everything that he did, and he was very charismatic when speaking in front of the crowd. Those are three features define what I consider to be the best qualities in a leader.
Those who lead with kindness over fear are often times more accepted in the eyes of those under them. Kindness captivates people, and makes the leader seem more human. To make yourself feel like just another person can be hard for a leader, but I feel it creates a whole new opportunity of conversation. In my school, the class president was always talking to the students, wondering what they were thinking, and if there would be any events that could possibly be planned that others would enjoy. This brought fourth many socials and other events that were very fun and made us feel that he was actually listening to us, and not just being nice.

He still had his confidence that he always had carried with him, but he grew into this figure, that could draw excitement from the crowd. He was very excited to talk to all of us about the next big and upcoming event. The school felt his excitement, and it resonated within us, showing in our cheers of the new event that was happening. Drawing in a crowd and holding their attention is a very important aspect of leading. Boosting the morale of those who follow and look up to you will improve the opinion of you as a leader further, but it can also help those who hear you gain the motivation to do
