This book is much more altered as compared to the first few as it focuses on rebuilding a life after domestic violence. This book in turn allows for women to explain why they could not leave, powerless, faced lack of money and absolutely zero confidence to stand up for themselves. The theme of the book is bring courage to one woman sitting at home being physically or verbally abused by her spouse to raise her voice and that she’s not alone. This source made me realize how to stand up for myself and bring hope to those who have suffered terrible humiliation by their man.
Credibility
Having been published and printed, this book could add to my ethos. Abrahams has provided well referenced information and details drawn from real life experiences along with statistics.
