Telehealth a healthcare system, it is not a service but can represent as a group or collection of means which are used to enhance the patient care and education. Telehealth consists of a broad variety of technologies which are used to provide virtual treatment, health and education services to the patient.
Telehealth services are described for a broad range of diagnosis and management of health. These services are very broad and includes Dentistry, counseling, physical and occupational therapy, home health, chronic diseases monitoring and management but not at all limited to them.

Telehealth is also used for transmitting the reports such as x-rays, pre-recorded videos through a secured electronic communication system to the provider or a specialist with which they can help the patient treating or advising in the video conference conducted later. The provider can track the data of health of the patient regularly with remote data monitoring system. This will help to provider keep an update about the patient even being in far locality.
These are two different application of telehealth which are used to contact the patient and the provider. After knowing about how two applications work I felt the direct to consumer application is most feasible for patients where they can select the provider what they want to discuss about their issue and go ahead with further process and wait for him and contact him directly for the treatment. It was a huge amount invested in the program, but this kind of program cannot reach the patient in rural area which leads to decreased reimbursement.
Workflow, treating the patient using telehealth program is different. The providers should be trained for this program. Simultaneously the response from patient was also not that active towards this kind of treatment. Making them understand to use this program was big challenge. (2)
Misinterpretation, it is always a concern if the communication is making a way to a client. A client may misinterpret the information from the nurses or physicians. (3)

Finally, I want to conclude that telehealth is an advanced healthcare system with many advantages for patients to gain effective care from the care takers or providers. Even providers have a facility to provide better treatment to many patients.
