So by bombing Japan we stopped one war and another potential war and no deaths of our military by sending them over and trying to take over. By the bomb we gained power because other countries knew we had what it take to wipe them completely out the bomb cost us a good amount of money that today we couldn't afford it.
Then all of those innocent people didn't deserve to die from something the military did so the should've attacked their military base instead. If we really wanted to destroy the town then we should of sent soldiers over there that was willing to destroy their town and kill. But we need up destroying more because of the radiation that it gave off. But with how messed of America is we wanted to show off and went a little too far with the weapons just because we had the power to do it.
When we dropped the bomb the three main effects were the blast, thermal radiation (heat), and radiation. The first thing to happen was a fireball which when that happened everything and everyone was gone. The fireball goes up to the air up to 400 miles per hour it destroys buildings up to 6 miles in the range of the fireball. If any person is exposed by too much radiation they will die it causes their skin to burn and eye
