I am here today to announce my frustration with the amount of homework given on any day. The problem with all of the homework is that some people have other things to do, and may not have time to complete all of the given homework. I think it’s safe to say that the amount of homework is just a bit too much, and not completing all of it seriously can bring down some grades for people. People do not deserve to have homework in every class, almost every day. I personally give a good effort to complete all of my homework, but there are some circumstances where I am not capable of doing the homework. Also, if I do not complete my homework, there are some teachers that will make me feel guilty. The students should have the right to spend their time the way they’d like, and reducing the amount of homework is a great start. A right of the student’s that has been violated, is that the high amount of homework is taking away some of the liberty of individuals. In the future, homework should be lessened, because I feel that it lets a student perform better than they would if they had a lot of homework. By no means shall homework just be abolished, because homework is a critical component of learning, but a lesser homework load will definitely be better for students. Also there are many people who do not do their homework in the first place, so those who complete their homework should receive some sort of incentive. We intend to help the students have a better learning experience by reducing the amount of homework given. The students will be able to take those opportunities given to them, and will not have to worry about a large amount of homework being an obstacle in the way of their
