From the textbook I know the power of the state government, there are reserved power, police power and concurrent power. To compare the state government and the national government, I would say that the state governments do their jobs more directly for their own citizens. So one of the advantages that I come up with is the states or local government do the things more elaborately. The works that the state government do is the things that their citizen needed. The national government does the things more roughly, like legislating the law based on the constitution. However, in people’s daily live, they do not have many chances to break the law.
