The Glorious Revolution, American Revolution, and The French Revolution have many similarities and were all started when citizens wanted to make change happen. All three revolutions were heavily motivated by the enlightenment ideas from French and English philosophers and the people began to demand change in their society’s. Citizens started to demand rights and during all three of the revolutions social contracts were produced. The Americans produced the US Bill of Rights, the French adopted the Declaration of the Rights of Man, and the English created the English Bill of Rights. All three social contracts were an agreement between the government and society and gave the people their rights to life, liberty, and property. Out of the three revolutions France’s was the most intense and happened in a very short amount of time. The French Revolution was a true revolution where the French tried to change every aspect of their society including killing the monarch, attempting to eliminate social classes, and get rid of religion. Meanwhile, The Glorious Revolution and The American Revolution were more of an evolution as the changes came slower and were not as abrupt. However both The Glorious Revolution and The American Revolution were successful whereas The French Revolution didn’t last because of extreme equality and the republic soon fell. All the revolutions were very different
