Thought Communist and Fascist governments are often considered to be very similar one should note that their fundamental core ideologies are vastly different and contradictory to one another. The Communists and the Fascists have very different approaches to; personal property, the treatments of others and their overall perspective on the world.
In regards to personal property, the Communist and Fascist philosophies are completely different. Communism runs on the notion that “[everyone gives] according to his ability [and receives] to each according to his needs”. This implies that everyone shares everything with one another to such an extent that they no longer own anything, everything belongs to the state. On the contrary, fascism took a less extreme approach and let the people control their own land and income. The state has control over production, meaning they could choose what is being produced and how much of it is produced. Yet it is important to note that Fascism let the citizens keep their own property. In my opinion, The Fascists did this in order to be contradictory to communism. Socialism revolves around the fact that everyone is equal regardless of one’s race religion or gender. According to socialism, everyone has a right to be treated equally so long as they act according to the state. There are no class distinctions and religious organisations are non-existent. On the other hand, fascism strived for class separation. The Fascist party declared that one race or religion was superior to all others. This group were treated well in the country while all others were discriminated against for being “inferior”. Fascists closed down labor unions as only the state should have power over the people. Fascism held a “traditional” approach to the treatment of others, whereas in communism all were considered
