The Things You Should Never Do With Cloth Diapers

Using cloth diapers is great for babies that have sensitive bums, and can save you a lot money and waste when it comes to using normal diapers. With more people starting to use cloth diapers again, the internet has become full of troubleshooting ideas, and most of them are really bad ideas, and can damage your cloth diapers even more. Parents will go to the extremes to try to find any solutions to help the problems. From smell to dealing with diaper rash, and burns, if can seem so much worse to a parent, as you are trying to do the best of your baby. The best thing to with cloth diapers is to have a washing routine that is simple, and seek professional advice when you run into issues, you would be surprised on how simple most solutions are. Most retailers, and manufacture have a FAQ page that covers common problem, or you can e-mail them if you cannot find the solution to your problem. So, what should you never do with your cloth diapers? Microwave This one is one of the newer ideas that people have come up with. The idea behind this is to be able to quickly disinfect the cloth diaper. Firstly, there is much safer ways to disinfect your cloth diapers. Secondly, some cloth diapers have mental pieces on them. Mental in the microwave is a plan bad idea, and could burn your house down, or at least damage the microwave. And you put food in that, do you really want put even a clear diaper there? Most likely no. Boiling the Microfiber, Snaps, PUL, or Elastic Like microwaving, exposing your cloth diapers to high heat can damage them permanently. The main parts that would be damage are the pockets, the shell, and the diaper cover. The reason being that the materials used to create these are not meant to deal with high heat. Just about every manufacturers warn you against using the sanitize cycle to wash cloth diapers, as this cycle uses water that is heat hotter than what your hot water heater with is normally set around 100-140F. These temperature this high is able to damage the microfiber, PUL, snaps, elastic, and make them wear out faster.

There is many other crazy method that the internet has suggested do be able deal with the problem that can happen with cloth diapers, but most of the issues a rise also when using other types of diapers. Some of the main things parents blame on cloth diapers are diaper rashes, stinky issues, and leaks. Here are some of the ways that manufactures would like you to try before heading to internet for help.
