It is our responsibility to preserve as much storytelling that we can. We read about how stories have been told only through words and then written down by someone else is remarkable to capture the feeling and emotion in stories as old as time. A reason the new generation might be hesitant in reading the classics is because they do not pose any interest to them and think how does this affect a person in a certain way. It is hard to tell someone not to do a certain thing but to show them by words and actions it makes much more of an impact. What is fascinating about that is “people will have done most of the reading they will ever do by the age of 25 and must love off those books for the rest of their lives” (Thompson). This means that with life a person does not know where or what they are going to do but reading has not been as important as it was in the past. Books nowadays only want to focus on children's behavior and not make a story. But the real world wants children to be taught and not to dream about fantasy rather make the world be and only through work is one to be successful. Without creativity it makes the modern children’s books more of a textbook rather than something to enjoy. The idea behind “Cinderella” is a dream that one day her prince will come. It gives children the chance to be creative
