Finding child care is a concern because Studies have shown that children with physical and mental disabilities don't get the same opportunities as other kids without the support of the schools, communities and policy makers. , It has been suggested that inclusion instead of exclusion in classroom settings creates a better learning environments for disabled children. This law provide children in need of (Child Care Aware of America, 2015, p. 1) special education with special accommodations to ensure they receive the same education as their peers. We also have regulations enforced by the Office for Civil Rights. (Child Care Aware of America, 2015, p. 1) The versions of 34 C.F.R. Parts 100, 104, 106,and 110 incorporate the amendments made in the notice of Final Regulations published in the Federal Register on November 13, 2000 ( 65 Fed. Reg. 68050). Part 104 implements Section 504 of rehabilitation Act of 1973, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in all programs or activities that receive Federal financial assistance
Students with disabilities do better when in a setting where more is expected of them. We know from the "Pygmalion in the classroom" experiments that when teachers expect more from the students their achievement goes up, and the opposite is true as also. When students are excluded from regular classrooms and placed in "special ed" classrooms, the potential for ridicule is heightened.
