The resistors R1, R2, RD, and RS calculated in the Prelab section were used to connect the circuit as shown in Figure 8-5. A load resistance RL of 10kΩ was used. The values of VD, VG, VS were measured and recorded. 3. The voltage vout was measured using an oscilloscope and the voltage gain AVG-D = vout/vin was calculated.…
Test tube #3 was fill up to the 3cm mark with catalase and to the 7cm mark with hydrogen peroxide. The substance was ones again swirl for 30 second and the height of the bubble column where…
Prepare a chart for recording any observations as you test for the presence of cations in the solution. Set up and label 10 test tubes #1- #10 and place them in order in a test-tube rack. Wash and rinse all of glassware with distilled water. Prepare a hot-water bath in a 250 mL beaker by filling it up to 150 ml and bringing it to a boil. Obtain 2 ml of the solution you want to test and pour it into test tube 1.…
On the way from solar cell to the solar module, the output efficiency decreases. For example when a multi-crystalline PV solar cells of 17.8% efficiency is used, the resulting efficiency of a module is around 15.9 to 16.3%. This decrease in efficiency is mainly because of three distinct losses listed below. 1. Optical losses generated by material reflectance and absorption 2.…
We built the RLC circuit as shown in Figure 1 using 10 nF Capacitor, 1 kOhm Resistor, and 1 mH Inductor . Connect the circuit to the Analog Discovery Module and open the Digilent Waveform Generator. Set the AWG to a sinusoidal wave, the amplitude to 3 V, and the frequency to 1 kHz. Then open up the oscilloscope and measure the peak-to-peak voltage at node CH2+ . Run AWG1 Make a table of the input (Ch1+) and output (Ch2+) voltages beginning with 20 kHz and increasing by 10 kHz to 100 kHz Open Network Analyzer and set values to:…
Lower Sample Rate (22,050 SR, 128 kbps): 8/10 Since there was some slight static, we gave the sample a 8/10. This could have occurred because of the rustling of the recorders jacket. Since the phone was placed close to the recorder, this sound could have been easy to pick up by the recording device. I think if we were able to listen to the recording with headphones, it would have been a more accurate depiction of the quality. There was some breathing and wind sound that could be heard in the background noise, especially in the rainbow passage reading.…
* For the first one this is what I would do... okay so we have the original equation for the first one & based off that this is what I would do... I would discover f ( 2 ) by inserting x equals 2. f…

Purpose and Background Cells divide in two ways, mitosis and meiosis. Mitosis is used to produce cells that are genetically identical to the parent cell for growth, asexual reproduction, or repair after injury. Cells that are produced by mitosis are diploid, meaning that they have two complete sets of chromosomes, one from each parent. Meiosis is used to produce haploid cells that have only one set of chromosomes, a mix of chromosomes from both parents. Meiosis produces cells that are genetically unique from their parent cells.…
1. Goal The main purpose of this lab is to introduce us to the RLES vCloud system, begin setting up a network with a router VM and a main Redhat VM, and configure some baseline features for the continuation of our work in future labs. This included configuring DNS forwarding and NTP on the PFSense router VM, and configuring a wiki on the redhat VM alongside monitoring software such as Zabbix or Opsview. When configuring the router, all was fairly straightforward and without any major setbacks. The web panel was very helpful in configuring the various NAT, DNS, and NTP settings.…
Objective Review: 1. Describe the purpose for using aseptic technique in collecting specimens Aseptic technique is used to prevent contamination of specimens by pathogenic organisms. The goal of maintaining asepsis is to not introduce any other organisms to the patient and prevent the spread of any organisms the patient may be carrying. Certain practices are used to help decrease this from occurring including cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting. Aseptic technique is an important process to prevent the spread of infection and diseases in the clinical setting (Hauswirth & Sherk).…
Lab #5: Introduction to Metasploit on Kali Linux Team: CRYPTERS 1 d. Why is it usually a bad idea to operate in the Linux environment as root? If you are unfamiliar with the concept of the root user, do a quick google search. It is always a good practice on any operating system to run your applications on a user level and leave the administrative tasks to the root user, and only on a per-need basis. Applications are meant to be run by users with non-administrative privileges.(Power December 4, 2010)…
Some of the similarities that I saw in the data are: 1. An increase in temperatures began in January and ended in July. After July, the temperatures decreased. 2. With the data I worked with, I noticed that the median tends to be around 50 to 60 degrees.…
1. (8pts) From these data, graph your mean arterial pressure (MAP; see formula) and heart rate (y axes) vs. workload (in METS) on the x-axis (include resting results). Using this information, answer the following questions. Show ALL work. MAP…
Observations and Results: There were a variety of physical observations that could be made as the experiment progressed. Initially after the addition of the sulfuric acid from the Repipet, the solution was a slight yellow…
