Cause And Effect After Leaving College

College can be a place where dreams become reality. All over the world, millions of young adults have the privilege to attend college every day. Most are pursuing a dream or goal and are striving for a better life. However, college can be a place for lost dreams and broken families. Many factors can contribute to a disastrous college experience, and these factors are what determine a student’s future after leaving college. Peer pressure is one of the things that many students face in college mainly because there is no parental guidance. There is not a parent watching over the student making sure he or she makes good choices. Students are left to make their own decisions and choices in college, and peer pressure extremely influences these decisions and choices. Being a college student, I can verify that poor choices are more likely to be made at a party rather than at home. This is kind of common sense because bad environments lead to bad decisions and choices. Both of these go back to peer pressure because that is where it all starts. Some probably think that drugs and alcohol in moderation are not bad; however, that is not the case. One too many drinks can change an abundance of lives. One too many pills can also change an abundance of lives as well. The changes that occur are not positive at all. These two factors can make a one stop being a college student and start being a corpse because these are life changing substances.
