January 8, 2018 Case Study 1 This paper is based on a case study on the Verizon wireless organization and how the organizations seek to continue accomplishing their goals over the years by incorporating organization behavioral principles within the work place and their employees, and the yielding of effective outcomes (Judge, & Robbins 2017). The Verizon organization embraces diversity and personal development. Verizon’s diverse work environment reflects the company’s market, inclusive work environment with zero tolerance for discrimination and doing business with diverse suppliers. According to the organizations functions, organizational culture norms have three distinctive dimensions 1. Content or what is deemed important (e.g.,) team work, accountability and innovation 2 consensus or what is widely shared norm that are sustained across people willing to sanction others for violating culture norms. In addition, these cultures operate at different levels (Scandura, A. Terri 2018). On a personal note, Verizon has been my carrier for over 8 years and to my knowledge their overall performance has been nothing but appropriate from all angles.
