The Hong family lived in Crawcow, Poland until the German officials began to capture all of the Cracow Jews. Bronislaw’s parents were sent to Plaszow and his father was force to work outside of the camp. Bronislaw did not go with his parents. Instead, they arranged plans for him to go with Jewish policeman. They were not allowed to leave the fort, they had to visit with family through the barbed-wire fence, and their mail was searched, but after a while they received passes that let them out into the city. If Bronislaw went to New York and his parents went too, then they all would have started their lives with no worry of being killed for their race.

What if in the middle of the war, half of the Nazis started to feel guilty and they turned on Hitler only 2 days before Bronislaw was killed?
