INTRODUCTION
A The epic poem of “Beowulf” is structured in a way that makes itself seem like another typical hero plot. In truth, there is so much more to the story than a legendary man slaying monsters and dragons.
B One of the major themes featured in “Beowulf” is the Age-Old Good vs Evil plotline. However this conflict is not only external in our story, it is also an internal struggle upon our story’s hero.
C Another major theme focused on in “Beowulf” is loyalty. With two opposing forces at each other’s throats throughout the poem, it’s very important to know who is on which side of the playing board.

F Beowulf is a character who values the morality of right and wrong, a brave warrior and devoted Christian he believes that if he dies fighting Grendel and his mother then it was God’s will and that he will go without any remorse.

H Beowulf’s strong religious faith is the representative of goodness all the while his pride could get get him critically injured or killed, but despite this he still accepts death if it means that his time is rightfully up.

J Grendel and his mother are branded as evil not only because of their monstrous appearance and strength but because of their lineage descent to the biblical figure Cain.
