Beau It was February of my eighth grade year when my family got a little surprise. On the 18th I came home late from a basketball game. I was exhausted from the game and school that day. I came into the house. Then I walked to my room with a heavy load of bags on my back. My plan was to take a shower and finish a couple math problems before going to bed. I had laid out my pajamas and took out the ponytail in my hair when my dad called from the basement, “Kallista?” I answered slightly annoyed, “What Dad?” “Can you come help me with something?” He asked. “Ugh…..fine.” I whined. I became upset that my dad needed me. I was tired and wanted to sleep, but I eventually went downstairs. I saw my dad standing there waiting for me, so I said,

    When i was younger i used to live at Christopher Lake I spent a lot of my childhood there.
