Seven of the Best Beach Destinations in the World

If you have tired of seaside recreation, it could only mean that you have not been yet to the heavenly corners of our Earth that we have described here. So, if you love rainbow sands, lonely beaches under stone arches, diving, surfing, or fishing, but you are tired of ordinary beaches, which is why you want to try something new, then in that case here are seven of the best beach destinations in the world for every taste and pocket:

Pfeiffer Beach, California

On the coast of Big Sur in California, there lies an amazing beach Pfeiffer beach, the sand of which is painted in all shades of violet, from lilac to purple. The reason is that the cliffs surrounding the beach are rich in spessartine which is a rare type of stone called Garnet. Washed by waves and rains, it is mixed with sand and forms incredible patterns, especially close to the North. The beach is quite popular among the locals, but to tourists, it is not easy to reach it, even with pointers, as it is hidden behind hills. Red Sand Beach Kaihalulu, Hawaii Kaihalulu is located on the Hawaiian island of Maui and has the crescent form. Its feature is the red color of sand due to the eruption of Cauca in the past. Now, the sand is rich in iron oxide or, simply put, rust, but it does not leave traces on skin or clothes. The beach gets a particularly striking look at the sunrise and is considered to be one of the best beach destinations in the world. Additionally, the water surrounding it remains calm and crystal clear all year, so the place is ideal for diving. White Hyams Beach, New South Wales, Australia Hyams Beach is located in the Jervis Bay Territory on the Australian coast.

The beach is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as a location having the most white sand in the world. When seeing this place for the first time, you can decide that nature has played with you an amazing trick, as the sand there seems as though it is snow placed in the middle of tropics. At sunsets, the sand shimmers and creates an incredibly romantic atmosphere, which allows you to make amazingly luxurious images. The water in Jervis Bay is ideal for water sports, fishing, and, of course, swimming.

Playa del Amor, Mexico

This beach is on the island Las Marietas. It was formed in the Bay of Banderas by volcanic activity. To get there, you need to overcome a tunnel leading to this unusual place. The caves and water hidden from the outside world by stone arches are home to many representatives of the local marine fauna such as turtles, dolphins, humpback whales, etc., which is why the place is good for diving. Also, it has the status of a National Park, while the Las Marietas Island, which is also there, is inscribed on the UNESCO world heritage list.

Kamari Beach, Greece (Black Beach) The Black Beach is one of the longest beaches in Santorini and is located in one of the resort towns there. And what is interesting

In Roxane Gay’s article “Why the Beach Is a Bummer” she explains her outlook on the beach and why it’s a place of discomfort rather than fun. “This is an ideal beach of hot sun, warm sand, crystal-clear water that leaves your skin salted. As much as I do love the beach and enjoy laying in the sun I agree with Gay’s perspective of the beach to an extent.…

Over the island the build-up of clouds continued. A steady current of heated air rose all day from the mountain and was thrust to ten thousand feet; revolving masses of gas piled up the static until the air was ready to explode. By early evening the sun had gone and a brassy glare had taken the place of clear daylight. Even the air that pushed in from the sea was hot and held no refreshment. Colors drained from water and trees and pink surfaces of rock, and the white and brown clouds brooded.…

In Hawaii, waking to the red and blue birds chirping and the oceans waves crashing on to the shore is tremendously relaxing. Looking out the window of the hotel while lying in bed, one could see crystal blue ocean crashing onto the sandy white beaches. The sand on the beaches does not feel like the beach in Panama City Beach; it does not stick to you as much and it is easier to get off. The sand is bigger grains than one might be used to.
