In her essay, Baron clearly states she is against electronic technology, and makes the claim that modern technology is making students lazier. They are not putting in the necessary work to fully understand and complete their assignments. Baron states that without reading the full text, people will miss out on valuable and important information. While reading a full text, students will be able to pull out more material that will be useful.
