On the first day of five days, it was demonstrated that challenges were undertaken since the entire day was spent collaborating with team members to develop a company name and product. It was difficult to create because of our chosen disability to focus on and the many different opinions everyone had on how we can make an impact and be different to the other teams, many ideas that we came up with were already created because of the large visual aid market (glasses, optometrists, etc.). Almost three hours went past before we finally settled on a company name, Clear Eye Solutions, and product, Contax, which were dissolvable contact lenses which can help aid and cure many visual impairments such as cataracts, dry eyes and lazy eye syndrome. I tried to use complementary colours and design techniques that I had learnt to create the basic look of the website. I also expanded my creativity further as I kept adding more and more functions to the website as the days continued, from the most basic of website structures to an interactive and modern style for the brand and the product. I also tried to do unique things that no one would try to do on their website for their company, some of which worked, including the ‘Available at’ addition, however some didn’t work as well as I would have hoped it to have, and so had to be scrapped or replaced with a much simpler
