New creative skills were developed in the process of deciding the company’s focus since many good ideas were created, however the Clear Eye Solutions model was favoured amongst the other …show more content…
I tried to use complementary colours and design techniques that I had learnt to create the basic look of the website. I also expanded my creativity further as I kept adding more and more functions to the website as the days continued, from the most basic of website structures to an interactive and modern style for the brand and the product. I also tried to do unique things that no one would try to do on their website for their company, some of which worked, including the ‘Available at’ addition, however some didn’t work as well as I would have hoped it to have, and so had to be scrapped or replaced with a much simpler

Dastmalchi LLC developed several keys to success when the firm launched. Their “fast follower” strategy led them to penetrate many different markets and target different audiences, while maintaining low operational costs. The company had the ability to predict which new products would be successful in the market and quickly release their own, more affordable, version to the public. This strategy was carried out by the company finding manufactures of the product and repackaging and rebranding the product to make it their own. Rather than using their own resources to innovate and market their own unique products, Dastmalchi found a way to piggyback off the success of others.…

In order to get the right results in this exercise, the group collaboration and team work was a very important key. A huge achievement in this competition was that I learned the marketing strategies which were very vague for me before and this was the first time I have done real time business game experience as an academic task.
