This is about the Baby Boomer generation. Those are people born, between 1946 to 1964, and what they are facing as they are aging. I have chosen to write about two subjects. Such as Medical care costs and not having enough Home Health Care workers to take care of them. Can we afford not to have trained workers or to pay the money to get the help they need? From what I have read is that we are having trouble getting workers that will work in the health care system for the elderly. So as the people are aging it is very important to take time finding the best provider for the medical condition or conditions that they have. According to Elizabeth J Bragg and Jennie Chin Hansen wrote an article named “Ensuring Care for Aging Baby Boomers” stated that seven out of ten aging elderly will need assistance for at least 3 years. Most elderly people have more than one chronic condition. Some elderly need help with normal every day activities, such as bathing, dressing, preparing meals, paying bills and to drive them to their doctor appointments. Since sometimes their health is failing and they need someone to drive them. These are a few things, and sometimes we take for granted things we do every day. I have read four to five articles and the more I find out that the Elderly care in the future needs help in many ways. Like financial and more medical, since your body ages and sometimes it’s not a smooth road. People need to just spend some time and read up on everything that is needed as they are aging. This information should be started when you are 40 or 50, to get a better grasp on what you need. Since they might not cover you if you have too many health conditions and or the rates may go up with your age and sickness. So the sooner you get insurance you can get better coverage you can have. I believe that a lot of people or government are looking into making sure that the Elderly are going to be taken care
