It is interesting that you mention the tour of duty COADOS or OPADOS status, my unit the 167th TSC recently placed soldiers on these type of orders to support Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Our G-1 reported that it took a minimum of 8 - 10 days to get the soldiers on orders and out the door due to the process that is in place. Understanding that these were M-Day Guard soldiers in Title 32 status, we just discussed streamlining the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS) and Army Force Management process. Placing soldiers on orders to support is much simpler than these complex processes and in the era of modern technology and electronic banking you would think we could STREAMLINE the process to get Reserve and Guard soldiers on orders provided they
