Parents can also choose to send their children to a school outside of their district. The pros are to help create a more stable and democratic society which promotes freedom to choose where and how children will be educated regardless of their families income and social status. Also, it forces public schools to become more competitive with other public and private institutions, leading to a better education for all of society.
