Did you know many schools have made school year long instead of having three months of summer vacation? Schools throughout the country are beginning to do this so students could learn more. Although some believe the school year should be lengthened, many others disagree because having school year long would mean students would constantly be forgetting what they learned, always be stressed, and because it would be a big financial issue.

School should not be lengthened because students would constantly be forgetting what they learned. Many children and teenagers have trouble remembering what they learned after coming back from a week vacation. So, teachers have to reteach the topic.
