Archimedes is a famous Ancient Greek. He had knowledge in mathematics, astronomy, physics, inventions, engineering and many other things. His great intelligence and contribution in these fields is the reason he is still remembered today in the present.
Archimedes was born during the year 287 BC in the city of Syracuse. While he lived in this city as an adolescent boy, he grew a curious mind and a liking for problem solving. In addition, the fact that Phidias, his father, was an astronomer and mathematician helped create a path for Archimedes’s future. He then travelled to Egypt, where he received an education in Alexandria, which had a high reputation of high scholarship and intelligence. While he was there he also studied the book
