Anorexia Nervosa has been a huge issue especially in the young population. Studies have showed that only 46% of patients recover from Anorexia Nervosa. A 20% have showed that they remain ill for a long period of time. The reason behind on why the 20% of the patients remain ill. Is because doe to the low body mass index. The body mass index includes vomiting, and or psychological problems. Authors have suggested that the mortality rates for Bulimia Nervosa is low. The study that the researchers conducted expected that the death rates were a ratio of in between 0.71 to 12.8. It was also reported that the suicide rates for Anorexia Nervosa is the same ratio as the death rates.
