• The intro to this talk was an explanation of a snippet from the movies “Blue Brothers’ how a character bought a new apartment and it was a couple blocks away from the train station so his apartment would shake every time the train would go by, his friend asks “how many times does that happen?” And he replies too often to notice. • Ferriss introduction was a very personal story of his senior year in college and the moment he almost gave in on losing his own life.
• Ferris helps audience to see the benefit of thinking about your fears and how it helped him change into the person he is today.
• Tim talks in a conversational matter and becomes a helping hand in a time of distress for many.
• The conclusion of the presentation ended with the same quote he discussed before, "We suffer more in our imagination than reality” showing the importance.
• Ferriss used laughter to lighten the serious mood when in transition to the topic of stoicism. Images helped make it more of a smooth transition with the image of a cow in the rain showing the rough times.
