Ethan: So what is a Patriot?

Cid: A Patriot is a person from the Thirteen Colonies who rebelled the British control.

Ethan: What is a Loyalist?

Cid: Loyalist were people who remained loyal to the British and lived in the Thirteen Colonies

Ethan: Why did people become Patriots?

Cid: Well people thought they were being treated unfairly by the British, because they were taxed without say by the British government.

Cid: How many Patriots and Loyalists fought?

Ethan: Most Patriots fought for the colonist. Although, only few Loyalist fought in the war for the British.

Cid: Where were the majority of both sides from?

Ethan: The majority of the Loyalist are from the south and the majority of the Patriots are from the New England colonies

Ethan: What role did enslaved African Americans play during the Revolution?

Cid: They fought in hope to have a better chance at freedom.

Ethan: Since African Americans were slaves while the Revolutionary war occurred, did they fight?

Cid: Yes, they aided us in the Battle of Bunker Hill, and Breed's Hill.

Ethan: At Least they got to do something other than farm work.

Ethan: After the wars were African Americans acknowledged for their effort?

Cid: Sadly, no they were not.

Ethan: Weren’t thousands active in the war?

Cid: Yes, and only some won their freedom and others were victims.

Ethan: That's not right, how many were enslaved after the war?

Cid: About half a million were still enslaved after the war.

Ethan: Did they want the rights?

Cid: Yes, all African Americans wanted their rights. Especially after they risked their lives fighting.

Ethan: Well this concludes the contributions of African Americans, now onto contributions of women.
