Problem oriented policing or approach the idea police use proactive roles in identifying, understanding, and responding to problems in their community. This technique underlines the problem to get it figured out and fixed before it gets worst. I think the policing model that would benefit the most from effective crime analysis would be community policing. I believe this is the most effective way to police for many reasons.
