There is five system in the Bronfenbrenner model: Microsystem, Mesosystem, Exosystem, Marcosystem, and Chronosystem. According to the article: Ecological Models of Human Development, Microsystem is in a face-to-face setting, such as family, peers and more to engage in the pattern of activities, social roles and interpersonal relations with particular physical, social…and activity in the immediate environment. Mesosytem involves the linkages and processes taking place in two or more settings containing the developing person, such as the relations between hone and school. Exosystem comprises the linkages and processes taking place between two or more setting, at least one setting doesn’t contain developing person, which is events that indirectly influence processes within the immediate setting in which the developing person lives, such as for a child: parent’s workplace and home. Marcosystem consists of the overreaching pattern of the three other systems (micro-, exo-, and meso-) and this system describes the culture in which individual lives.
