I recommend acknowledge your awkward situation before reacting with a laugh, which Borcard suggests. By which, after laughing at an awkward situation, read the person’s response. Then make a choice. Apologize if by any chance the person’s response to the case was unfavorable or change the subject to overlook the awkward condition and laughing will help you overcome your awkward situation. Borchard’s idea has great benefits for social situations. I support Borchard’s idea that laughing can help overcome embarrassment, therefore you should laugh about it to get over it and it helped me in some conditions, but sometimes it doesn’t work because awkward moments can be hard to forget, or it can make people angry if you laughed at their embarrassing moment. So you should laugh at awkward moments carefully and you will overcome any embarrassing
