Albany
When we drove down to Albany it was about a 4.5 hour car ride south of Perth. The Longitude and Latitude of Albany is 35.0228° S, 117.8814° E. It is located on the tip of South West Australia. The car ride down had a lot of traffic on the Albany Highway which links Perth to Albany. But eventually when we passed the city there wasn’t as much. Along the ride I enjoyed the scenery of the farms with lovely animals such as horses and cows.

Several rare and endangered species survive in the coastal heathlands east of Albany, including Western Ground Parrot, though lack of recent records is worrying. Threatened birds such as Hooded Plover, Carnaby’s and Baudin’s Black-Cockatoo breed in the area.
While we were walking around town we found some really antique-style buildings which were from when they first settled here. Even though some of Albany was modernized like the shopping centres. Geographical process - There is a small cluster of antique cafes and shops which really gave me a homey feel when I walked inside. They had timber flooring and some had vintage posters hanging on the walls. We went past a really cute café called ‘Libertè’ which looked really posh like it just come from England

Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island attended. Representatives met daily in Albany, New York from June 19 to July 11, 1754 to discuss better relations with the Native American tribes and defense tactics against the French from Canada in the opening stages of the French and Indian War. The Delegates goal was pursuing a treaty with the Mohawk and other major Iroquois tribes. This event was significant because it was the first time colonists had met together and it provided a model that came into use in setting up the Stamp Act Congress in 1765 as well…

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve is now one of my favorite places in St. Petersburg! This field trip was a nice break from the fast-paced urban lifestyle that I have been living since moving away from home. Our excursion began at the bird-of-prey aviary. There were several types of birds at the aviary: eastern screech owls, turkey vultures, barred owls, great horned owls, and a bald eagle, to name a few. At the aviary, I learned that barred owls are best known for a call that sounds like, "Who cooks for you……

As populations rise, there is an increase in demand for food, resources, and also an increase in waste. While for many years it seemed okay, now researchers are finding that there are many cases where human waste is going to the wrong places causing disease, and many ecosystems to falter. This is happened across the globe, from China, to Brazil, and up to Washington D.C. in America. Directing our attention to Washington D.C., we can see how humans have disrupted the ecosystem and are now in jeopardy of not being able to restore it to it’s previous greatness.…

The Birds takes place on an outlying English coast shortly after World War 2, and on the other hand, Alfred Hitchcock’s version of The Birds occurs in Bodega Bay in a modern era. Although Hitchcock’s adaptation is thrilling because the main characters are separate from the big cities’ protection, Daphne du Maurier’s setting is more enthralling and blood curling because her story happens after one of the most horrendous wars human history has ever seen, and Nat’s family has less hope of government assistance. Daphne du Maurier writes, “…at the far end of the peninsula, where the sea surrounded the farmland on either side” (1). The coast where Nat and his family reside has a queer atmosphere around it, and the reader instantly knows that with the sea surrounding them aid would be difficult to acquire.…
