African Americans to do what they wanted. If they tried they’d be executed
or ignored by many.
Back then, all around the world was quite racist. In the 1950s
and earlier African Americans were slaves and were used as basically a
back bone for a lot of white people. Life in the 1900s and earlier for the
African Americans was not what they expected, they were treated so
differently than white people. Race was a huge part back then, there were
more racist people than people who thought that everyone should be treated

African Americans is totally different than a different race's american
dream, however, our american dream is Americans. For African Americans
their american dream doesn’t occur to them. They don’t really have an
american dream.
Today, African Americans actually have somewhat of freedom
than they did back in the day. Rosa parks was an African American Civil
Rights activist, she refused to give up her seat on the bus to a white male,
she was convicted of violating the law in 1955. She also lost her job. Rosa
Parks was fighting for her rights, for all of African Americans, and for
everybody to be equal no matter what the race. She was frustrated in fact
all blacks were quite frustrated back then, life didn’t seem fair to them,
they were pretty much being treated like they didn’t belong in the world,
like they were unwanted go to separate school than whites. They couldn’t
share anything. Blacks had their own school and whites also had their own
school. now in almost every state, city, country, town all races share
