Adolf Hitler's Rise To Power

Germany was very weak at the time when Hitler rose to power; they did not have anyone to support them that was in a leadership position. Adolf Hitler used his propaganda skills and nefarious dictatorship to his advantage spreading the idea of Nazism all around Germany. Germany was in trouble, the economy was crumbling and most people were out of jobs. Hitler and his political party promised that things would be better with his help and he would make a change. While lots of people were happy with him, he caused many problems and began going after Communists, and other groups that opposed him. When Hitler first got the idea of going into politics he was asked to attend a club organization. He thought it to be unorganized and useless but he joined the organization anyway to see how it played out; the club somehow intrigued him. Hitler soon realized that his position was being questioned so when he arrived back to Munich he himself proposed that he resign. The members of the party then realized that was a bad idea because he was the head speaker and propagandist and so they refused to let him leave and cause the party to stop being as successful. After Hitler was released from prison at one of his speeches he said “either the enemy passes over our bodies or we pass over theirs” (Shirer 119) one thing that he would regret. During his little outburst while giving his speech Hitler got in trouble for saying that and was told he couldn’t speak in public anymore. For a person that relied on his oratory skills mostly it was difficult to be told but speaking was not all he was good at.
