The general differences between them include character development and the time period. Books can explain everything in detail because there is no time limit, but for movies, they must fit almost everything in 1 hour and 30 mins to 2 hours. So, the book introduced more characters and developed them at a slower pace, while the movie had to skip over some events. For example, in the book, Wally was aware of Candy and Homer’s relationship, but in the movie, he didn’t know. This both supports and opposes both sides of the abortion debate who only use the parts that support them in their arguments casing misinformation to be spread. What science and the medical community does say is an abortion performed by a trained doctor or medical professional it is safe of the mother with little to no complications after the procedure and since Roe v Wade the number of deaths due to an unsafe abortion have dropped significantly. People so passionate about the issue of abortion because for many people their stances on abortion is based on their belief and moral system. People who think abortion is morally wrong are pro-life and they generally believe that abortion should be illegal at all cost or only aloud in certain cases like incest, rape, and danger to the mother’s life. People who are pro-choice are on the other side of this issue, they do not pro-abortion or think abortion morally right but they believe a women has the right to choose what is right for her and her baby (Weitz,2012).
