The ASCPA allows abused and neglected animals to have a voice. It is an organization that provides food, shelter, and care for the animals. Even animals deserve to have the necessities that is needed in order to survive. The ASPCA, a nonprofit organization for the prevention of cruelty to animals, is a great charity that you should contribute both time and money to. In their commercial, the song Angel is sung by Sarah McLachlan while the suffering animals are shown. This makes the viewer feel sad for the animals, and realize the struggles that they face. The viewers, especially animal lovers, feel the need to donate money to the organization. The commercial leaves both their website and phone number so that the viewer can easily access the organization, ask questions, and donate their money. Some people may argue that they do not like animals, so they do not feel the need to donate. Many people support this organization and donate both their time and money. The ASPCA is supported by more than two million people across the country. The founder of the organization believes that animals are ¨entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans, and must be protected under the law¨ (Henry Bergh).
