Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is considered by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth edition (DSM-IV) to be a neurobehavioral disorder that affects an individual by tenacious pattern of behaviors, inattentive to details, may be hyper and unable to control behaviors, with spontaneous acts (American Psychiatric Association, 2013).
