The CMOP would state that Nash’s major issues come from his spirituality, not knowing what is real and what isn’t and not being able to make logical sense of his disorder. However, the PEOP would state the major issues come from components within his person and the environment around him. Nash began to suffer greatly when his cognitive, physiological, psychosocial, neurobehavioral, emotional, and spiritual factors became negatively impacted by his disorder. This in turn affected his interaction with the environment around him because he could no longer interact with his peers without his hallucinations appearing which caused him to stop going to work and school. Both models attempt to view a person holistically but focus on certain aspects of a person that may cause more harm if not treated or properly taken care of. Environmental factors seem to play a bigger role when viewing Nash’s situation from the PEOP while personal factors are more focuses on in the CMOP model. The CMOP model does a great job at defining the internal problem of an induvial and how it can affect their choices and life as whole. However, the PEOP does an excellent job in explaining those internal factors and how they can be affected by other external factors as
