it is Network Address Translation. This is changing the IP address for UPD or TCP Port number.
Why is NAT needed?
to translate your IP address for incoming and out going coms.
What are the names for coms going in and out
IN: Source NAT or PAT
Out: Destination NAT (also called port forwarding)
