A tunneling protocol that enables two nodes running both IPv4 and IPv6 across an IPv4 routing infrastructure to use a special address obtained by combining the prefix 2002::/ 16 with the 32-bit public IPv4 address to form a 48-bit prefix of the form 2002: wwxx:yyzz::/ 48 in the case of a public IPv4 address w.x.y.z. These nodes use this address type when communicating with each other.
Adprep
A utility that prepares a Windows 2003 or Windows Server 2008 forest or domain for receiving domain controllers running Windows Server 2012 R2. It has several parameters, the most important of which are forestprep, which prepares the forest, and domainprep, which prepares the domain.

An acronym that stands for Microsoft’s recommendation of placing Accounts into Global groups, then placing these groups into Universal groups, then placing these groups into Domain local groups, and finally granting Permissions to the domain local groups.

A type of IPv6 address that is utilized only for a destination address assigned to a router.
Always offline mode
A new Offline Files mode in Windows Server 2012 R2 that enables faster access to cached files and redirected folders in an AD DS environment.
