Discrimination against colored people and different ethnicities is still a huge problem circulating. The equality of genders and skin colors is not equal. In the 1700’s women did not have a say in anything. Housework and bearing babies were the only thing seen as important when it came to women. But women over the years, have proven that thought to be wrong. Many riots and protests are because of the problems with how the society are handling these situations. Prejudice and injustice has affected many lives and shaped the way the people think of the nation. It has created hate and not much tranquility or uniting until something serious has happened to unite the people regardless of color or ethnicity. Social media and news platforms have a tendency to create a stereotype for certain ethnicities and some even create a negative image for the people of that ethnicity. Though writing on paper won’t change the way people think, the way the constitution has written,“all men are equal”, is not true. The word “men” is singling out the other people in the nation. If it were really to ensure that the people were created and treated equally, it should be substituted for a word best fit for the society for today. One of the points that stood out the most was the fear of aristocracy. The matter of what they thought would be right or wrong, were set on different views. One against the other, majority ruled and in the society today it is still that way. In order to stay in office and campaign to win against their opponents, officials have secretive meetings with wealthy business owners and elite people with money, to make deals to help the other out. In reality it is like the Roman Catholic church and the king, one with many followers to persuasive and money, the other with a title and in need of assistance to keep their position.
