For example, Willy had an illusion were there was a degree of certainty that Biff would make it big in the football leagues. This illusion was so big, instead of preparing Biff for the math test that determined wither he passed or not he put all focus on Biffs’ game. The illusion Willy had was so big that when charley tried to bring Willy into reality, Willy considered him being jealous. The illusion was at a point to where Biff has stolen something from school, showed it to Willy, and Willy took it as a good thing. In addition, Willy had an illusion that Biff was an actual salesman to Oliver. Even when Biff tried explain that he only a shipping clerk, Willy rejected the idea. The illusion had gotten to a point were at one point Willy even convinced Biff that Oliver would hand fifteen thousand dollar to Biff. He started to talk about how he was going to build a farm in the west to make a living. When will was stressed, lost, and confused he went to a store to buy seeds. After buying the seeds he went straight to his garden during the dark to plant the seeds. In addition, Willy was stressed to a point to where he tried multiple attempts to end his own life. In his basement Willy had placed a tube where his pipes were hoping it would end his life. Will even fantasized about his own death.
